With over 40 years of experience in investment banking and private wealth management, Carlos joined de Pury Pictet Turrettini in 2010 to advise clients in Latin America.

He began his international career at Banco Uquijo in 1972 in investment banking and corporate relations. He was successively Head of Credit in New York, Head of the Americas in Madrid and Head of Asia in Singapore.

After working at JP Morgan in New York as head of investment banking for Mexico, he became Managing Director and member of the Executive Committee at JP Morgan Switzerland in Geneva. In 1998, he joined Morgan Stanley Switzerland as Managing Director of the Geneva office, Head of private asset management for Latin American clients and member of the Executive Committee.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Theology from the Pontifical University of Saint-Jean-de-Latran and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pace University in New York.
