In 1996, Guillaume Pictet together with David de Pury and Henri Turrettini, founded the independent asset management company de Pury Pictet Turrettini. For more than 25 years, he has been managing portfolios for private clients. Today, he is also a member of Conseil d’Administration de Richemont (CFR) Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sécheron SA and Chairman of the Gourgas Foundation.

Guillaume began his career in wealth management at Pictet & Cie in 1974, before working in corporate finance at Morgan Stanley in New York. In 1977, he joined the Federal Department of Economic Affairs as an economist. From 1983 to 1995, he was a Board member of Darier Hentsch & Cie in Geneva, and an asset manager responsible for private and institutional portfolios.

He holds a degree in economics from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales of the University of Lausanne.
